Field & Finance Co. was founded to solve one of the construction industry’s most persistent challenges: the disconnect between what happens on the jobsite and what gets reported in the books. Contractors often know their projects inside and out but are left with unclear financials, slow payments, and compliance headaches that cut into margins. That’s the gap we close.

With over a decade of experience spanning both the field and the office, we bring a unique perspective that blends hands-on construction work with specialized financial expertise. From starting in roofing on Kaua‘i at 18 years old to managing multimillion-dollar projects across multiple states, we’ve built careers on bridging operations and finance. Along the way, we’ve prepared AIA payment applications (G702/G703), coordinated subcontractor compliance and lien waivers, managed certified payroll, and worked directly with lenders on funding requests. At the same time, we’ve designed the financial systems—QuickBooks setups, job costing structures, WIP reporting, and forecasting models—that keep contractors and developers confident in their numbers.

Our leadership has served as both Project and Operations Leadership for construction firms, giving us firsthand insight into how financial workflows break down when the field and office aren’t aligned. We know the pain of delayed payments, missing compliance docs, and budgets that don’t match reality.
